We are selling it for ten million dollars.
Why?
Because luxury fashion is kind of a joke.
The materials aren't worth ten million dollars. The labor isn't worth ten million dollars. The shoe itself definitely isn't worth ten million dollars.
But apparently, that doesn't always matter.
Branding matters. Exclusivity matters. Status matters.
And sometimes the price tag seems to matter more than the actual product.
So we decided to stop pretending.
This is IRONY.
A shoe that tells you exactly what it costs to make and exactly how ridiculous the price is.
No diamonds.
No gold.
No celebrity endorsement.
No story about how this canvas was hand-selected by a third-generation Italian shoe master living somewhere on the side of a mountain.
It's just a canvas shoe.
It costs around $43 to make.
And we're selling it for $10,000,000.00.
Because apparently, that's how luxury works.
The funny part is this:
If someone actually buys it, we're deleting it from our systems indefinitely.
No restocks.
No reproductions.
No “limited edition coming soon.”
No second drop.
That's it.
The person who buys it will own a real 1 OF 1 pair of shoes that may or may not break the internet.
At the very least, they'll own the most expensive canvas shoe we have ever made.
And probably the funniest.
